The “Harvest Wellness Fair” will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Carlin Activity Center, located at 822 N. Commerce Street in Stockton, CA. The fair is a family-friendly event and is FREE to the public.
The basis for the Harvest Wellness Fair is to provide the community an opportunity to experience natural approaches to health and wellness by showcasing practitioners and vendors who specialize in a wide array of alternative disciplines, which support and improve our Body, Mind, and Spirit.
Included are local herbalists, naturopaths, massage therapists, reiki practitioners, yoga instructors, artists and purveyors of vitamin supplements, organic nutrition products, soy based candles, aromatherapy products, holistic and metaphysical books and more!
Practitioners will present 20 minute seminars throughout the day on wellness topics and we will celebrate the Arts with musical entertainment, dance performances, tai-chi and other demonstrations.

EARTH DAY FESTIVAL |

"Live Green San Joaquin" is the theme of the 19th Annual Earth Day Festival to be held on Sunday, April 22, 2007, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., at Victory Park in Stockton. This premiere environmental event is free and open to the public.
Kick-off the day at the Family Fun Bike Parade. Registration for the parade begins at 10:30 a.m. with prizes for the best environmental costumed bike and/or rider. The Festival, a partnership of the Stockton Stormwater Management Program and Solid Waste Division, the Peace & Justice Network, University of the Pacific, and San Joaquin County Public Works Dept, features informative and interactive displays, focusing on protecting our earth, air and water.
There will be great food to enjoy and craft booths to visit. As part of a terrific day of entertainment, the funky sounds of Bucho, one of Sacramento's best dance bands, is being sponsored by University of the Pacific's Associated Students.
